New Premium Tea Au Lait

With the successful launch in 2020, Lipton Taiwan knew they had a winner with launch of their premium Tea Au Lait range. Now fast forward to 2023, with a stunning rebrand and new exciting taste, I worked with the Lipton Taiwan team with there digital marketing efforts for the relaunch of Tea Au Lait.

3 Social advert created for the launch of the Premium Tea Au Lait, Placements created for Facebook and Instagram Stories.

Initial Ideas, A winning blend of delicious milk and rich tea leaves.

Initial direction for the advert, that didn’t make the final cut. Initial idea was to focus on the product and part of the ingredient (the Tea leave) before celebrity.

The Journey

Creating assets fit for social media advertising we played around with a few ideas focusing on the product using the tea leaves as a link to the actor/campaign. I added motion to his signature and the hand writing font to add a personal touch to the videos.

Why not both?

Alongside the social media advert, I repurposed the original YouTube advert into :06s YouTube Bumpers. Here’s the final result.

The original advert

Based on the original advert we optimised our short form video and YouTube Bumpers.

I started the project with a mix of footage from the TVC adverts and key visual element, then blending them into :03s short form social media assets for Instagram Stories and In-feed advertising.

The original concept of the advert is: We follow an Actor or should I say Singer who can’t choose what path to take in his career. So why not Both? Just like the mix of Black tea and Milk. Taking inspiration from the ads I developed this video.
