Lipton Malaysia released their new “Tanpa Regret” campaign in Spring/Summer 2022. A campaign revolving around the work place, taking your 3pm snack breaks and a feeling of absolutely no regret.

The product and market

Unlike the USA, Asia, Australia & Africa, The APAC market/Malaysia is well known for it’s Milk Tea and Teh Tarik flavours instead of Lipton Ice Tea. 3pm break-time is a huge part of the Asian work place culture. Compared to our Lipton projects, we always take a different approach for the Milk Tea range, Humour is a big aspect to the adverts and community/friendship is something Lipton advocates across all markets.

The Brief

The Brief: Adapt the new Milk Tea TVC adverts for a social media audience and YouTube bumpers. Trim down key moments from the advert and find 3 key pillars to build a narrative, Afternoon Tea Time, Indulgence and Guilt free.

Execution: My 1st approach to analyse the advert and storyboard and build a narrative for each pillar we wanted to explore.

 
 

Pillar 1: Afternoon Tea Time

Starting with Afternoon Tea Time, the messaging we wanted to get across is that we’ve got you covered, Take a break and enjoy our Lipton Milk Tea. Minum Petang? meaning Tea Time? and Jom Enjoy meaning Let’s Enjoy.

Our approach to a cinemagraph is to just focus on one visual/shot. i worked on storyboarding the concept and putting the 3 second advert together.
